- 100% OWNED BY ROCKHAVEN WITH NO UNDERLYING INTERESTS OR ROYALTIES
- HIGH GRADE AND BULK TONNAGE GOLD-SILVER SHOWINGS OPEN FOR EXPANSION ALONG STRIKE AND DOWN-DIP
- LOCATED NEAR AN HISTORICAL PRODUCING GOLD MINE IN MINING FRIENDLY YUKON, CANADA
- ROAD ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY AND ONLY 50 KM FROM MAJOR HIGHWAY
- STRONG EXPLORATION POTENTIAL ACROSS THE 60 SQ. KM PROPERTY WHICH HOSTS NUMEROUS UNTESTED SOIL AND GEOPHYSICAL TARGETS
- FULLY PERMITTED FOR ADVANCED EXPLORATION
The Klaza Property hosts high grade vein and bulk tonnage showings. The property is 100% owned by Rockhaven Resources Ltd with no underlying royalties. It is favourably located within the southern part of Yukon's Dawson Range Gold Belt, an under explored area that hosts rich placer gold deposits and key infrastructure such as road access.
The Klaza property hosts four parallel, 1 to 75 m wide, structural zones of epithermal to mesothermal type gold-silver mineralization. All zones consist of quartz-sulphide veins, breccias and fracture networks that are spatially associated with quartz-feldspar porphyry dykes that intrude granitic country rocks. The zones exhibit exceptional lateral and down-dip continuity and collectively define a 1500 m wide, northwesterly trending structural corridor.

The Klaza property is located 50 km west of Carmacks, Yukon. The property is road accessible by a two-wheel drive road from the Klondike Highway. The property is favourably situated within the Mt. Nansen gold camp, a district that hosts an extensive system of gold-silver veins and active placer gold mining. Systematic excavator trenching and widely-spaced drilling have only been done in approximately 20% of the 60 km2 property. Untested soil geochemical anomalies and induced polarization geophysical targets suggest there is good potential for additional discoveries on the property.
View of 2010-2011 excavator trenching on Klaza Property
The 2011 exploration program was conducted on behalf of Rockhaven by Archer, Cathro & Associates (1981) Limited. It included: 13,630 m of diamond drilling in 52 holes; 2,940 m of reverse circulation percussion drilling in 21 holes; excavator trenching; a helicopter-borne magnetic-radiometric survey; and soil geochemistry.
The 2011 diamond drilling intersected significant mineralization along an 850 m strike length within the Klaza zone. The zone remains open for expansion along strike in both directions and at depth. Mineralization exhibits exceptional continuity with 36 of 40 diamond drill holes testing the Klaza zone in 2010 and 2011 intersected at least 1.0 gram gold equivalent/tonne over widths ranging between 3.04 and 36.50 m (average 13.04 m). This zone is open to extension down-dip and along strike in both directions.
The BRX Zone has been tested by nine drill holes located on section lines spaced 150 to 225 m apart along a strike length of 1.3 km. Significant mineralization was cut in eight of the nine holes at depths between 25 to 150 m down-dip of the surface trace. The best drill result from this zone was 5.43 g/t gold and 50 g/t silver over 14.80 m. Excavator trenching along the BRX Zone extends the known strike length to 2 km. This zone is also open to extension down-dip and along strike in both directions.
